All entries submitted for the photographic competition will undergo a blind judging session by a panel of LGBTIQA+ community members in the week following the closing date. These community members are invited by the Rainbow Calendar team to be part of the judging panels, based on various criteria such as involvement in the LGBTIQA+ community and experience with artistic pursuits in their personal and/or professional lives. If you would like to suggest an individual then please send us an email.

Twelve photographs will be selected for the Rainbow Calendar, with an additional 12 entries to appear alongside them in the Photography Exhibition. Selection of images is based on multiple criteria, but focuses on how well the image and associated story submitted with it aligns with the theme.

All entrants will be notified by email as to the outcome of the competition and invited to the Exhibition and Calendar launch. Details of these events will be shared by email, on the Bfriend Facebook page, and in the Feast Festival program.

For more details please read the Rainbow Calendar Project Terms & Conditions.
